Wow, looks great, P400 is good. I do not use nitro so no really knowledge but I would be checking if I needed a sealer before spraying on top of silvertip epoxy

Nitro does bond very well on epoxy. I did that for several years.

Starting to level and sand the finish out. P400 on the orbital then sand it out with Asselix, Buffix, don't think I'll use the buffer. Then put together.

I finished it up several weeks ago. Neglected pictures until now.

And here are some of the blemishes that are unavoidable in Manzanita.

Nice details, Carl and great colors. And extra soundports. That is what we call a wooden guitar. I see the charm of it. Well done.
How does it sound?

Thanks Herman. Sounds bright and clear to me. I wish my old fingers would go where they use to.

I LOVE IT Carl?!

I liove manzanita coloring and figure

I made a duck call out of some burl and it was gorgeous

Never seen any large enough for a guitar.

I remember reading about a California guy who harvested and slow dried manzanita which took like 20 years so he sculpt it into amazingly beautiful pieces.

We'd all like to hear it if possible
