Mr. Ken. I bought that neck block from Martin awhile back. I told Mr. Andy, I was using a Martin supplied dovetail. I wanted something slightly different. I will be a Taylor NT shaped neck from Mahogany with a Martin scale length (25.4) using a dovetail joint, but I will use a 12" radius for my fret board. I hope this experiment works.

I have a nice striped Macassar ebony fret board. I like the grain pattern. I am thinking of using very small abalone dots like 4mm for markers because I don't want to hide the beauty of the wood with abalone. What do you guys think?

Michael, that is what I did on this one, used the 2mm dots.

Beautiful guitar Kevin.

I have been in wait for parts mode. In the meantime, I got my headstock overlay done. I took my joint braces to a laser engraver in town and for 9.00 he made me some labels. I should have the neck set and completed over the weekend. I hope to be spraying her by end of next week.
