Taylor makes these GT guitars with a 24.25" scale.
They claim it gives more depth to the bass of a small guitar.
I go for a OOO Cedar/EIR with this scale as a try.
Did one of you build with this scale?

Re: Scale 24 1/8"
I use 24.9" for a short scale on a guitar. The shorter scale really calls out for a 12 fret join, otherwise the bridge will be high up in the lower bout.
Re: Scale 24 1/8"
Up till now I did use 24.9" too for short scale.
I will try the Sloped shoulder OOO with 12 fret join.
I think a bit of foreward shifting of the braces will be needed. Or maybe change the angle of the x-braces a tit wider. Have to dive into that befroe starting.

Re: Scale 24 1/8"
I've built a couple with 23.9" scale (lop the first fret off a Martin long-scale fingerboard) necks. I find I need to be very careful fretting cowboy chords on a Martin long scale or short scale neck, less so on the 23.9" neck or a GS Mini 23.5" neck. No way to a/b tonality, they're all unique.
