Taylors new "V' bracing pattern

I don't know, just seems like it would restrict top movement instead of enhancing it. What do y'all think?

My guess would be a bit less sustain and more of a jazzy sound. The pattern is a little bit like Mattola's instrument, which was an
a-frame ala Tacoma guitars, but Taylor has added radiating tone bars coming off of the A, which might be a compromise between X and regular A-frame construction. Maybe.

With the upper and lower transverse brace, this looks like more of a classical pattern to me. I believe that there were some classical builders that had inverted fan bracing. I have no idea of how this will perform.

Although I think it is a next commercial hype, I'll consider that as a next project.
On the net is not much to see/hear how different is will be.
May be it will be like the PRS has become to the Fender and Gibson dominated market.

There are reasons classical designs are "classic".
