Adjustable saddle routing jig

For my size 2 I wanted to make my own pyramid bridge. The hard part for me would be to get the saddle slot routed correctly. I also wanted to be able to make other styles as well so I made this jig based off of various designs found on the net. Trial run went well. Will work with either my laminate trimmer or my dremel.

John, is plunging the bit an issue?

(by the way, I have a link to something similar for cutting back-angled slots. Not trying to hijack John!

So far no. I just tip the router into the slot with the length.
