Won't be blogging all of this but I will show progress pics. This is Honduran Mahogany and will have a Sitka top. 1 3/4" at the nut, 2 1/4" bridge spacing, 24.9" scale. I'm a ways along as I put in the side reinforcements today. Will be starting a 00 style next week - Cedar top, Eastern Black Walnut B/S and of course I will be finishing the J-45 (J-50) next week.

Thanks John. One of these days I'll have the courage to "break the mold" and attempt something truly artistic like some of the ones you've done. This one is a spec guitar I hope to complete before the local Music Festival on Sept. 21 where I'll attempt to sell it.

Thanks Dave. I think it's the nicest piece I've worked with. It looks a little blotchy now but when I wiped it down with naptha it really presented nicely. I think it's going to look really good under finish.

Into the Troji it goes for side scrapping and sanding. I'll cut the binding channels after lunch (which for me is in about 12 minutes:)
