Ray, as promised here's my tiny shop. It's the corner of my basement. Working around a water heater, furnace and a bathroom jutting on the end. I use an overhead shelf to store my mega mold and current in progress parts. Up between the joists I store my wood. Hope it gives you some ideas.

i would like to know a little bit more about the thickness sander you built. Are you using the table saw motor to power it? Is the design in your head or do you have some plans for it?

Thanks Ken, i didn't realize it was the same plan. I am starting on it this weekend. I was intrigued by the use of the table saw. Is it just using the table as place to set it or is it somehow using the table saw motor.
