The lighting wasn't the greatest but the guitar is done and delivered.

Here's the final photos. The top is actually a little whiter than most the pics. It doesn't have a vintage toner look in person.

Tim, That one came out excellent. Looking real good. I like that grained top. Wooden guitars should look woody.
But you are so fast. I told you I'm about to start a HD28 too. That was 7 weeks ago. Now yours is ready and I have to start yet. Wow.

That's become my trademark. I don't prefer the "picture perfect" top. I like some character in the grain (and those tops are usually better sounding and cheaper too). I've had other more experienced builders tell me the change in grain allows for the more variant in the frequencies hence better sound. I take that like everything else people profess to say does this or that BUT in my experience it seems to hold true. Thanks to you and the others for the compliments.
