Well, took a while but got the neck ready for finish. Will use OSMO.

I have no idea how to get these right side up. I've deleted and rotated them 3 times now and they're still upside down. :?

Nice looking project. What happens with upside sown pictures is newer software, looks at information of the orientation of the camera and displays pictures right side up. When you rotate them in let say windows only the metadata changes the picture does not. I rotate them in a photo editor and get them the way I want them. I have a yard full of Manzanita's, although I do not think my spouse will let me cut any down. It is cool making a very local guitar.

Thanks, Kenny. The inlaid "C" stands proud of the surface with rounded edges. I don't remember what that style of wood inlay is called. It's the white sapwood from the edges of the Manzanita, as are the fretboard markers.

Three coats of Silvertip. Manzanita has virtually no pores but some knot holes, ant trails, cracks and soft spots that needed stabilizing. Time to sand for nitro application. I'm thinking of scuff sanding with P400 unless someone has another recommendation.
