John, I am having a hard enough time trying to wrap my head around "relative to the 12th fret" much less having to think about the other 19. Thanks for the clarification regarding your measurements, Tim

Well I must admit to have spent pretty much all day measuring and re measuring this thing so I hope to hell that when you guys see these pics I don't get the response back telling me I'm an inch off!! I cut my mask and with any luck I should be able to start shooting the finish this weekend. I want to get that spruce covered up, boy does that stuff want to pick up dirt!! Thanks very much to John and Tim for sharing their measurements. I went with adding .125" which fell pretty much right in the middle of all the numbers that I had found in my research and with the saddle 3mm wide I should have plenty of room to adjust. Again thanks for all of the responses. I'll keep you posted as we head to the finish line. Tim

PS: that purple tape you see is something I picked up at home depot. It is HDX multi surface painters tape medium adhesion. It is very easy on the spruce, I had issues with the blue tape pulling up splinters even though I had repeatedly stuck it to my shirt to lessen the tack. I did a quick test with some laquer and the tape did leave a little adhesive when removed though I applied the laquer with a small brush in an amount much heavier than what would be left by a spray coat. I will test again when I get my spray stuff out and will let you know the results.

Thanks Lonnie, I feel good about the bridge placement though I sure was sweating this step. It will should be easier on the next one. I appreciate the support, thanks. Tim
