Pro Cabinet Supply has it for $80 for a gallon. Comes to about $120 with tax and shipping. I bought one a year ago and need more already.

Searched around and found Westlund Distributing had it for $83.60 with $11.95 shipping. With our tax up here in the woods in Butte County it came to about $103/gal. Ships from the Midwest.

Well Westlund just informed me they can't ship the Mohawk gallon to California. Will have to try somewhere else.

Isn't it wonderful living in California
I purchased from Pro Cabinet last time, they shipped
but they're out of stock right now
maybe we should go for the cardinal?

I've got 3 bodies to spray, each takes a little bit < Qt. I've got 1, so will get 2 more from AMZ. Easiest for now. Cardinal worked fine but I usually thinned about 30% thinner, sometimes retard to get the coat to flow out so it goes further. Miss LMII.

Re: Question about spraying Mohawk Pre Catalyzed Lacquer
I'm generally using over a quart; getting around 3 guitars per gallon.
I'm really considering getting one gallon of the Mohawk Durocoat pre cat lacquer and giving it a try.
$69 shipped on Amazon. Says it's flexible but dries harder than instrument lacquer.
I read so many reviews about this finish and that finish and there's always pluses an minuses.
I remember back a few years when buying the instrument lacquer a rep I was communicating with said. " you should try the pre cat lacquer. I believe at the time it was Westlund.

I think the Cardinal was precat because it had a expiration date on the can that was usually one year after purchase although it worked fine after that for a while.
