Dave, it's been a while since this conversation started. You're in my thoughts. I hope you're doing well. Take care.

Quote from Dave:
"Hello Mates,
I am doing ok and am on the mend. Another few months and I should be back to regular shape. Will have more to share as time goes on. You are in my thoughts as always. Dave."

Doing much better, homies! I'm talking like a human being, walking like a human being (with one gimpy leg that is still recovering), doing mostly healthy-person stuff with a good chance of living a number of happy and productive years.
Thanks much for your encouragement and prayers!
I've got one guitar I started building for Herman which I have had to ignore for too long, but will finish it up as soon as the weather gets a bit warmer.
As to treatment - I had (and still have a tiny bit of) lymphoma of the brain. Current treatment is a daily pill that shrinks the tumors - I'm down to one small part of one tumor - which an MRI in two weeks should verify. My good wife and good friends (thanks Herman) have been.....great!
I should have more good news soon, thank God.

This makes my day! Thanks for the news. I hope Rosie is still around to love up and cuddle. Spending time with my furry friends warms my soul.
