Making progress.
Back outdide arching is almost complete. Purfling is scraped down and is a little better than i expected. I guess ill go with it.
Started carving out the inside. Wall thickness is to be 5mm down the center between the C bouts gradually sloping down to 3mm around the perimeter. Lots of carving!

Put this aside for a few weeks to work on the OM build but picked this back up.
A few pics of the process so far and where I am now.

The top and back are about done but ready to glue onto the rims. There will be some final shaping around the perimeter and clean up of the surfaces after assembly.

Starting to look like a violin.
