Spalted Persimmon
A friend gave me some scraps. I have a bookmatched piece to cut circles out of. I am also trying a mosaic. I have the pieces glued together on a piece of waxed Masonite in hopes that it will come of easy or at least be able to sand the Masonite away.

The rosette will look great! Looks like you can get a headstock veneer as well.
