Purfling boo-boo
So I have a strip of black purfling underneath the binding on the side. In one area, for whatever reason, the purfling up and decided to not sit flush and in fact has sunk in 1/16" or so. Not sure how to fix that. Any ideas? The area is too small to try and graft a little piece of purfling on.

I had that happen on the ABG I'm working on now. Some of the areas I taped and filled with glueboost gel. Since this one is for me I left the rest alone. After sanding and buffing the finish (Seagraves gloss) the depressions hardly show. I suppose if I had stuck with the CA fill it wouldn't have showed at all.

Hey Dave,
I always go from there with some ebony dust and a drop of CA glue.
Or make a mix of ebony dust, wood glue and a tiny bit of black stain.
Good luck on the sink.
