I started using the pipette method described here and wow, what a difference. I'm using Starbond thin and medium, I'll get the gel later. I also have a fridge in my basement to keep it in. Life is good.

LMI sells some really nice pipettes with a really fine tip for getting just the right amount of CA where I want it. Can't find the ones that they sell anywhere else.

Just checked, these are way cheaper. We use them for de-capping ICs with acid. Just need a tiny drop.

BTW, if you have a Hobby Lobby in your town, they sell pipettes and quality CA. I had always ordered it.
