Or,, whoever knows the answer, but Kevin once mentioned that he used stabilized redwood burl for knife scales.
I've got some redwood burl to use again as headplate, and wondering how to stabilize it?

I agree CA glue. Also there are some epoxies in the marine world designed just for this purpose. Although I do not remember the products.

I'm concerned that the CA will really darken the burl too much, but I'll do a test piece to determine that.
