I just finished this guitar today. I want to wait a day before I string the guitar up, but not wait to show it off. I am waiting for the bridge glue to cure before I string it up. But other than that that I am ready to go. I build this guitar for a niece of mine.
Once it is strung up and setup up I will make a video playing it.
The headstock veneer and and rosette are cut from an amboya burl I found at Rocklers.

Well done John.
Is that Koa b&s? I really like the head stock inlay.

Stunning. You forgot the strings, or did they end up inside?
Can't wait to hear it John.

So, my big brother was playing guitar and I figured I'd try it too.

Absolutely beautiful as usual John. Is that body the normal thickness? it looks thin for some reason.

Thanks all for the kind comments.
The body is the normal size for a O sized parlor guitar. The main changes I made from the plans were to increase the sound hole diameter a bit and I switch from a slot head to a peg head. Other than that I followed the plans for body size and bracing. I did tap tune the top plate and the top with braces so the thickness of the top and the height of the braces are a little different than the plan.
This is turning out to be one of the best sounding SS guitars that I have made. Also for the first time I got the geometry right. So the height string height from the body at the bridge is right where I wanted it to be. The notes play clean and without buzzing all the way up the neck.
I will post a recording as soon as I have time.
