Kerfed lining jig works great

Post by John J » Thu Feb 04, 2016 12:09 am

Finished up this jig and did a whole bunch of kerfed linings in no time. Based on the frets.com jig referenced here by Ken and also additions from the anzlf site and a couple of my own.

That is quite the project and makes some nice-looking kerfing. How much do you charge?? :-)

Yes Tim, it advances to the kerf spacing you set stopping just before the blade cuts the lining. When you pull it back it resets and you push towards the blade, advancing each push. You can actually move along quite rapidly. Alas not motorized (at least not yet).
