Here's something I tried today that worked real well. I was just done radiusing a fretboard with Ken Cierps jig idea, and when I put that aside I needed to work on my headblock - I wanted more curve on my headblock.

I just used the fb jig, made witness marks on the block, and carefully sanded with some 220 stuck to the 16" radius board. I did not re-work the jig, I just made sure to keep the radius board level - short sanding strokes were the key to that.
