I'm building #3 and #4 along side one another.
This one will be with the flamed maple I picked up a few months back, and a nice sitka top. I still need to work out the purfling scheme, but hope to keep this one a very clean black and white theme with the maple and ebony.

I had an orphan sitka top with really, really fine grain that I cross cut on the table saw for use as my back reinforcing material.
The back reinforcing material was pretty thick, so after taping the top to protect it, I thinned the spruce with a small hand plane.

Does anyone have a recommended temperature for bending flamed maple in a bending jig with a silicone blanket?
Spritz with water, and wrap in paper?
