I am stupid today. More than yesterday even. :-)
Herman - at the waist of you picture above, I DO see a turnbuckle.
In the lower bout, I do NOT see a turnbuckle. Not what I think of as a turnbuckle. There no thingie in the middle of it like in the waist picture.
What am I missing, my friend the magician??

Take a peak above at the picture with the clothpins for gluing the lining.
And do not look in the middle for something. I let it disappear there.
