Acoustic Guitar Construction

Are there any particular points during construction where it ain't a good idea to stop at? I think, for example, that it would not be buying trouble to interrupt construction after the top and sides are joined. But is a builder inviting difficulty to take a break in building at some earlier points?

I've had projects in the works for years -- what's the logic for your concern? The issue is always making sure the parts are assembled when the RH is about 45% for a few days.

My concern was warpage of unsupported (or assymetrically supported) parts. Sounds like I need not worry. Thanks.

If you keep your RH steady, you can leave it in pieces for years.

I wonder how I might arrange for a 'rh steady' state. Best I got is a basement with two dehumidifiers running 6 months a year. Never did measure rh down there.
