Another glue challenge

I believe Tim McKnight is a fine guitar maker, but I simply don’t understand why stuff like this is published? http://mcknightguitars.com/glue-hardness.html Testing chemicals outside the intended use envelope simply proves nothing. I saw another TM study that was done using the glues on a metal surface -- huh??. I sent this to John Greven (a great and famous vintage maker) and he had nothing good to say about it – I am told he is a biochemist by trade!! My point is that when you have predetermined results in mind you can easily compile information that seems to support your "straw man" conclusion. I will say as John did, if you know how to build a fine guitar – it matters not what kind of glue you use.
