Acoustic Guitar Construction

Has anyone followed this process to fabricate a bolt-on guitar neck? I'm impressed by the hardware the author uses to model his techniques, and it all seems rational, especially the part about making the neck completely bolt-on in the manner of Taylor's newer design using a support under the fingerboard extension which is tied into place by a screw through a lateral brace in the guitar soundboard.
