at sloping the top to match my neck. Dead-on angles. Some of you guys may have been use to getting these angles right I was not.

Tim you were not alone trying to use popular hit and miss hobby methods to create the appropriate matching rim/neck complimentary angles. Plus unfortunately this more often then not leads to fudging/carving the neck heel to make a cosmetic fit and that results in all sorts of inaccuracies. Not to mention the frustration. As Bill Clinton once said “ I feel your pain” ---- that’s what led to the development of the Mega Mold, which is a way we small time builders can emulate what’s done in the factories. I pilfered the concept directly from Martin!
