What do you use? I've read that 'end-mills' work well.

Not sure in the year 2012 why anybody would use a bit that is not at least 1/8" diameter. The world knows intonation can be improved with a wider saddle.

Here's my choice:

BAM is a good company - they actually answer questions.

I'm routing for 1/4" saddles now. The intonation is so easily adjusted.

I agree -- here's my "lab guitar" I use it to test different features. 1/4" saddle is one such feature.

I'm having trouble finding 1/4" bone - everyone seems to have 7/32" at the most, which is kind of hard to find a bit for.
Can 2 of the 1/8" blanks be glued together? Using what adhesive, I wonder?
