Acoustic Guitar Construction

Have any of you forum guys tried a 3 piece sound board?

Four piece but not three --- unless its for ornamental reasons or to use a very fine piece of wood, maybe a practiced project, I believe the traditional two piece is the way to go.

But here's a thought starter
