Interesting bracing

Then check out this site and how this guy copied Smallman guitars. The framework of the rim is pretty interesting.

Pretty interesting. I had never seen the inside of a Smallman guitar and knew nothing of his building style. Same with Schramm. Never heard of him, but I don't build classical or flamenco guitars.

I see that they use laminated sides.

Trevor Gore and Gerard Gilet's Build volume of Comptemporary Acoustic Guitar, has a full size plan and construction instructions for a lattice braced classical guitar with carbon fiber banded braces. Their design does not have the internal structural frame that Smallmans's has.
