What about that for backs and sides on a steel string?
Sound? Finish?
Thanks, Ray

I made a steel string with quilted spanish cedar and it looked and sounded great.

Martin even had/has special editions made of SC -- NICE!!! Loud and balanced.
After hearing one at Elderly I decide to construct am OM - still not finished, its for my wife amazing how much is on the back burner. Anyway this guitar is light as a feather (intentionally) plus it will have a light weight pin-less bridge -- I am confident it will sound great --- but who really knows for sure?

Love working with the Spanish Cedar but for me it plugs me up and affects my breathing.

Oh yeah you right on that -- I guess its full of oils -- when we run a batch of SC ribbon kerfing the fragrance lingers a couple of days in both shops. Some of the Rosewoods are bad news for me.
