solid kerfing

I'm going to bend some solid kerfing, and I'm not sure what dimensions to use. Any ideas?

Approx same thickness as sides and height same as regular kerfing? Don't really know, never did it.

Are there problems bending it that thick Ken?

I would think so -- I like the idea of solid wood, but I made a few guitars using laminated veneer strips (three layers) and did not have to do any bending.

I never thought of doing it that way, what a good idea. I thinned mine down to about .090, and it didn't bend great. Not bad, but I think the problem was more in my form than anything else. Still reworking that, finished an electric and 2 twin beds first. Should have the new bender done this week. I will be rebending some padauk sides in it, and re making some solid kerfing for them. Will let you know how it goes.
So, my big brother was playing guitar and I figured I'd try it too.

My plan is to use laminated kerfings, I used the word 'solid' to distinguish from regular kerfing. since I'm laminating the sides also, it kinda makes sense.
