As requested by deadedith, here is a video of coat #2 going on. This time I recorded how I do the sides. It is a bit different than the top and back. I also talk about how I deal with big drips or runs.
Take a look:

As always, comments and questions are welcome!

I made a test piece to see how thick my finish was. Pics:

The lines are where the caliper goes so I measure in the same spot each time.
Three coats on so far. I will measure once the thrid coat dries.

Tony this is great. I brush on my finish as well, though I use KTM 9 over Z poxy. You may have mentioned this but I will ask anyway. Will you level sand after the third coat or will you wait till the end?Now that I've typed this I think you have mentioned before that you wait till the end. One thing that I will add is that I use the cheap foam brushes. Not only do you not have to worry about clean up but I don't have to feel guilty about washing contaminents down the drain and into the chesapeake bay. Thanks again. There is not alot out there for brushed on finishes and I'm sure alot of folks who don't have or want to spend for spray equipment will find this to be a great option.

Kyle - are all foam brushes created equal? Are there grades, anything special to look for, or are the dollar store foam brushes as good as any?
