I'm thinking about getting one, because of my hearing problems.
The nylon string is played by professionals.

Hi Dave,
Bert, a friend of mine, has the steelstring version of it. Quite some years now. He is fond of it.
He wrote me:
"The Yamaha is fairly good indeed. The sample technique is nice and sounds with headphones on very convincing".

Good luck on the decision mate

I have an off brand for travel. It sound horrible through the pickups. I imagine the Yamaha might sound better. I only use it for travel and practice, It is at least good enough for some practice. If you get and like the Yamaha I might buy one.

I think I will order one. Reports to follow.
FWIW, all reporters say the nylon string model is much better sounding than the steel.
That is, more realistic...

So I've had a few days with it, and I am impressed by the sound, playability, and overall build. Well done, sturdy, and I can see why they are popular with professionals as well.
Today I will lower the action a bit .
Dave

It is a cool looking guitar. Does it breaks down at all for travel?
