Substitute for wool-lube?

Post by Dave Bagwill » Tue Mar 13, 2012 7:09 pm

I have to order the stuff online, and the shipping costs what the product does.

Will Murphys Oil soap or something else stand in for the wool-lube?

When my quart can of "Wool Wax" ran out I started using Murphy's -- looks , smells and works the same. I use it with 0000 steel wool for a satin finish.

I like Murphy's, and I'm going to try it tomorrow. Thanks.
