I was gifted the HF $149 workbench.
Took a few hours to put together, fairly clear instructions, everything fit perfectly.

This thing is STURDY, the drawers hold most of my daily tools (and slide well too), the bench dogs and dog holes are good fits, and the end vise works well - I think it is a very good value for the money.

I have the same bench and I love it. My only complaint is that it's light so it moves when trying to plane on it. Some weight on the shelf, my mess, and it's better but I could use more mess...err..weight.

Just a thought -- I have several tools including a shaper and Craftsman band-saw where I added an extra shelf to the stand -- on those shelves is a bag of sand - no joke!

I might have posted this elsewhere, but put one of these under it, and it should take care of all of your junk storage (weight).

FYI, it's just the storage unit under the workbench (does not include the bench itself)
$70 with free shipping!

I bought that workbench and absolutly LOVE IT! Probably cuz it cost $149 and is better than the Swedish $500 workbench from Woodcraft. Yes, it is "cheap but for the price? unbeatable. Small, for my small workshop and is an inexpensive way to get introduced to benches so that you can design your ultimate. Mine doesn't move very much, what are you doing to get it to move?
I've evaluated the one at Woodcraft and the HF model is far more solid. Also, the one at Woodcraft had a missing knot in a leg and that worries me about strength. I checked some in boxes and same story, Their "scantlings" were also less than the HF model. Remember, One of the good things about HF is there "return or replace" policy so learn to use and you'll get some reliable tools.
