Natural Earth Paint Spirt Varnish
It's basically shellac but has some oil of some kind added. Maybe other things too.
I'm wondering if it might be more durable for classical guitar than straight shellac
Thanks. Would love to hear if you have used it

Kevin, I can't speak to this particular product. I've used Minwax satin rattle-can lacquer on my projects (eight and counting) and I've been delighted with the results. Do whatever pore seal (I use z-poxy finishing resin) you wish, and each cross-coat application of lacquer is scraped and block sanded until there's no more shiny dots, and apply a final coat and let it dry and gas off. Done.
I found that I could do two applications in a day and my finishing efforts take a week start to finish, somewhere between five and ten iterations of apply, dry, scrape-and-sand, do it again...That sanding-and-scraping seems to control finish thickness nicely, at least for my purposes.

Looks interesting, Kevin. I've tried Osmo, which appears to be a similar product, but only used it on necks. Feels great. I wonder how it compares to Truoil which we can't get in CA easily anymore? If it holds up on floors as some of the reviews indicate, it should work fine. Sounds like it will work great indoors in the winter with its nontoxic ingredients.
