App for measuring tapping frequencies

For some time I use frequency measurements in my builds. Not as a leading dogma, but as a second thought.
There are several programs for that. But now I found a simple, free, very down to earth app for my android phone. And it works sooo easy and quite accurate. Frequency measurements for dummies IMO.

"Spectroid", from Carl Reinke, in the Play Store.
No more hassle with lap tops and mics. On the workbench and your phone close.
I like it. You could give it a try.
Simple and honest as this, the world should be .

I use Spectroid also, and like it. I plug in an USB mic though. I use the UMIK-1, $79.

On my laptop, I like to use the free Room EQ Wizard software. I can save and compare measurements with REW.
