So far we are only in the mid 90s. Not horrible but most Seattleites do not have AC.

I've been in Seattle when it's in the 90's - it felt quite hot.

Herman, That used to be out summers. The European heat wave must be South of you.

I remember being up in Seattle back in the 1980's and the temp. was about 80 degrees. I thought the people there were going to die from the heat even then. I, being from So. Cal. thought it was really nice.

I took this pic on the back porch around 4:40. It reads 102° F - down from a couple of hours earlier.
