newbie first build - Sitka/Sapele Small Jumbo

Finally starting a lifelong dream of building an acoustic guitar. For my first build, I chose lower grade (cheaper) tonewoods. But I am quickly discovering that nothing is cheap when building a guitar!!!

Pretty woods, but nothing special. I knew that mistakes would be made and hopefully I would learn from my mistakes for the next builds.
Old Growth Sitka and Sapele.

Neck blank. All woods bought from a local lumber shop.
Mahogany, Bolivian Rosewood (Pau Ferro), Canarywood and locally harvested Maple for the center strip.

The woods look nice to me :-)

I like the rosette as well, similar style to me first rosette (all of a month ago ;-) )

Great looking start! Looks like a good set of wood. The rosette looks great.
