OM Crossover Sunburst Cutaway

This nylon string Crossover has a classical body (Ramirez style) and a western neck. 47mm wide, 16 inch radius and C-shaped.
For back I used Capofera for which I had no sides and sides of EIR, for which I did not have a back.
I work fine together. The funny thing, that I posted before, is the chipout of the top at the binding. I sprayed a sunburst over it and it does not show.
Here you can see more and hear a soundsample

The guitar looks and sounds great. How does the 47 mm nut feel with nylon strings? I have been afraid to go under 48 mm. Maybe your 16" radius helps; mine is 20". I like your design; I made my crossover starting with a classical and adding steel string attributes where you started with a SS design and changed it for nylon strings. Your is more true to to being a crossover.

Thanks John.
The 47 mm feels just right to me. The only thing that I would change in a next one, is the position of the first string. Now it is 4mm from the side. To my hands 5 mm space would feel more naturel.
But that is something about the way your hand and grip is build. So here someone else may feel different about.

I recently finished a 13 fret steel string with a very similar headstock. I will get some pictures posted. Looks great!

That's a nice performance.
What do you think of 14 frets to the body instead of 12? What design changes would be necessary with that higher tension? A little thicker top?
The bridge would be a bit closer to the soundhole, maybe not that big a thing?
Any suggestions?

I made one without change to the thickness or bracing. I used a 660 mm vs a 650 mm scale length to make up a bit of the movement toward the sound hole. It has a tighter sound than my 12 fret versions. Not a bad sound just different. With the cutaway there is less of a need for a 14 fret body join.
