Call for Tony!

I'm putting out a call for Tony to film a step by step of his lacquer brushing process. From the first drop that goes on to the final rubbing or polishing or whatever he does. His finishes look great, unless it's all trick photography.
How about it Tony??

Challenge accepted!!
I can definitely do it, but it won't happen until April or May. Which isn't that far off actually. I need the temp to be above 50 in my unheated garage and remain there during the process. Also, once the lacquer is on, I need to wait a week to start sanding. Sound ok?

That would be swell, Tony. I've never used the word 'swell' in this context, I've been keeping it in my back pocket for a special occasion, and this is it.
Thanks Buddy.

I will be looking for this. I have done brushed on finishes using KTM 9. Tonys finish jobs look great so I'll be looking to make improvements by watching the process.

I think that the main reason my finishes look good is the prep prior to lacquer and the wet sanding later on. However, I am always happy to help if I can. Since I have three guitars to lacquer this spring, I will have plenty of opportunities to video the process. I need to make some handles for the boxes and necks!
I have been finishing my necks with Danish Oil followed by MinWax Wipe On Poly for the last few. I like how it looks, feels and applies. Super easy. Wish the rest of the guitar was as easy!
