Hello,
If you are from Atlantic Canada, where do you get your tonewood tops? Are there any local tonewood suppliers who harvest locally?
I would assume that old growth spruce is readily available in parts of Labrador...
Are there other varieties available? Walnut?
I know that there is plenty of maple available, but I am looking for spruce (or maybe cedar), and hopefully local wood.
Thanks.

Hi Gilles, Welcome.
In the past I purchased some wood from Larry Stamm
and from Frazer Valley wood. (Now woodtoworks.com)
Both excellent wood.
Good luck on your building.

I've bought several tops from Frazer Valley. Accurately described and priced right. I'll happily buy more from them.
