Safe to say, I think, this is not his first project.
Any of you guys turn?
Enjoyable 10 minutes.

I got my first lathe about 5 years ago, but didn't start really turning until about 3 years ago. Mostly I've made duck calls and goose calls, and a few odd ball things, but the last few weeks my wife has me making Christmas Tree ornaments.
Turning is actually very satisfying if you know what you are going for. My first thoughts were.........how many bowls can a guy make. But if you can give stuff away, you can just keep making stuff and its a lot of fun.

Wow that was gnarly. That stump could rip your arm off! As a musician, I really like my arms attached!

KW - oh so you're one of the prima donnas that need all the fancy equipment to be able to play? Like arms? Haha
Well me too.
