14 fret neck on 12 fret body

Other than bringing the bridge a bit closer to the soundhole, could using a 12-fret body shape - such as a Hauser shape - work on a SS build and a 14 fret neck? I realize that would put the bridge in less than optimal position for a classical guitar, but for SS I don't know.
Thoughts?

It will work, just make sure the Xbrace cuts at least the corners of the bridge. You may need to change the angle a bit, but just lay it out and and it is pretty obvious. I have done 14 fret on 12 fret body before.

Yes Dave,
That can work. But, as John says, be sure the X is in a propriate position.
If not, don't go for that. If the X does not touch the bridge , it could make the bridge area too weak.

Moah, an inch and a half or so.
For men conquering continents, like us, doable.
