I think I'll buy one

Just found this guy on the youtube; he builds gits in Northern California and has posted a series of 'how I make an acoustic guitar' - type vids that are low key and entertaining.
This segment was on brace shaping, and about halfway through he shows how he uses strobosoft software from Peterson of strobe fame.
Let us know what you think of that product!
(the section I'm focused on starts at 7:30.)

I got that tuner for 5 years. And it works like you want it to.
The way he uses it is elabourous. For each size of guitar you need to make a new mold to clamp it in.
But in my view this way is far more real than all the builders who measure on a loose top. The ones who understand physics know that the waves are very different if you have a glued top vs a loose top.
FWIW: I depend on my ears, eyes and fingers when it comes to "tuning".

Dave, buy that tuner, you won't regret it. It is worth the 50 bucks.

I have that tuner software and use it. I do like it. I have one of the old style real real strobe tuners as well.
