Two guitar building classes

Post by Tim Benware » Mon Apr 30, 2018 4:16 pm

I just recently finished 2 guitar building classes. My students took 6-7 days to complete their guitar. I've included a few select pics during class and the final products. This first one has an Adirondack top, Curly Black Walnut B/S, Mottled Makore bindings, Waverly tuners w/Snakewood buttons.

Amazing looking guitars to get finished in a week! How is it teaching classes like that? I was in NC this weekend at a wedding.

I have a ton of fun doing the classes. It's the main reason I stop doing commissions. What part of NC were you at?

I was in Raleigh, the wedding was Friday, Saturday the craft bear festival was just outside my hotel. I was out in the beer festival in the early afternoon. Walking back through after dinner was wild, very drunk people, had to push my way out of being in an unrelated,
to me, fight over portapotty turns ... An odd very drunk young woman wanting help getting out of there. The beer was good though.

Awesome Tim. Those guitars look great. You are almost as fast as Robbie O. :)
