OM Sapele and spruce

Post by Kevin in California » Tue Mar 27, 2018 11:54 am

Well I finally got this one done and presented to my grandson.
This one is an OM, Sapele, Spruce top, walnut bindings, rosette, headstock veneer. Nitro lacquer
Taylor chrome tuners. It sounds really good. I didn't make a sound bite of me playing it yet, but I'll try and do that soon.

What a beautiful gift! It will be a great joy for you to watch him grow up playing your work of art.

Sweet Kev. I have 4 kids and 4 grand kids and none of them play guitar yet (my youngest son started butt never stuck with it).
I've "Ben-Had" again!

Nice. Few kids learn on a fine instrument, despite the logic that suggests the better the git and especially its action, the faster the learning. Quite a gift.
