I have to refinish a guitar. All the nitro has to come off. I sanded and scraped the top, but it is a pita to do. Paint remover comes to my mind for the back and sides. Is it safe to use it on delicate wood glued with hide glue?
Anyone with experience? Tips?
Thanks
Herman
Paint remover
Re: Paint remover
The gel paint remover works fine ---- however it will destroy plastic including bindings

Re: Paint remover
Don Teeter has a good tutor showing how to refinish a guitar (includes chemical stripping) in his 1st book.
