The Stanley #6 is pretty old, best I can tell it is original and is a Type 6 made between 1888 and 1892. Pretty cool I think.

The #7 is also original and was made by Norvell Shapleigh. The tote is a molded rubber, and the knob is a rosewood or hardwood. This is original.
This plane would have been in the late 1890's most likely.

Awesome planes Kevin. They both look great - but that No. 6 appears to be a real workhorse indeed. Have you tuned them up or tried them out yet?

No they are as I found them. So many planes and so little time!
It is the only #7 I have so I should make it work, and it's a very rare plane indeed.
