Tom built the L-00 in the shop, and has been practicing!!
Very good fidelity, needs good speakers/phones if possible

I really like the ladder-braced sound on the L-00.

Very clean and crisp design, just right for the satin finish, just right period. I listened with 4 foot B&G ribbon speakers combined with mid bass and sub woofer units, tri amped, ~2,000 watts total driving them. I assume this setup is good enough because the tune sounded wonderful.
Ladder bracing is said by many to favor treble notes because it breaks up the top into segments conducive to short amplitude movements. This particular tune and his use of a partial capo takes advantage of that, assuming the theory is correct. In any case the sound is as crisp and clean as the instrument's design.

Thanks for the feedback. Your "hi-fi" setup sounds borderline but probably sufficient.
I make joke - an awesome system you have there!
I will ask Tom about his setup when I get home.
